Characteristics:
Associated professor, senior researcher, certificated trainer of European Battery Academy, head of Laboratory for Corrosion Testing and VIB Lab (Lab for Research and Innovations of Batteries) at Technical University of Košice, Faculty of Materials, Metallurgy and Recycling, Broker at the Promatech Center. He serves as advisor for Clean Technologies and e-Mobility at Government Office for Research and Innovations in Slovakia. He advises InoBat in research, development and testing of advanced materials used not only in Li-ion batteries and other energy systems, but also on the application of nanotechnologies for the achievement of better performance of batteries, application of artificial neural networks in prediction of the life-time of materials and safety issues. As co- chair of Task Force Safety at Batteries Europe Partnership (BEPA), he is managing strategic research and innovation agenda (SRIA) across member states in safety and hazard of batteries systems. He leads hydrogen strategy in Kosice self-government region and initiatives linked to Hydrogen Valley project together with industrial stakeholders. His core research is focused on corrosion in different sectors from energy, mobility, construction and healthcare, failure analysis across industry. safety and prediction techniques.
