prof. Ing. Jozef Janovec, DrSc.
Description:
He has been active in the scientific field of Materials Science from 80th years of last century till now. The above scientific field was established as a result of integration tendencies between mutually thematically related areas of Physical Metallurgy, Chemical Metallurgy, Physics of Condensed Matter, Anorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. Later, nanomaterials and key materials for some information and/or biomedical technologies were involved in this field. He has engaged on study of diffusion-based processes mainly from, mechanism, kinetics, thermodynamics, and electrochemical response points of view. Both alloy steels for energy industries and structurally complex binary/ternary aluminium-base alloys, inclusive of quasicrystalline structures, were objects of his scientific interest.
