Description:
Lívia Mačák is an assistant professor in the field of Materials Engineering with extensive experience in material research, analysis, and characterization. She specializes in evaluating optical, chemical, morphological, and structural properties of materials using advanced laboratory techniques and instrumentation. She possesses strong expertise in the interpretation of experimental data obtained by UV-Vis spectrophotometry, FTIR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX).
Her scientific work focuses on the design and execution of experiments, data analysis, and result evaluation, which she actively utilizes in the preparation of scientific publications. She participates in research projects aimed at improving material properties and enabling their practical application. She has gained experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, particularly in the fields of nanotechnology and polymer nanocomposites.
She regularly presents her research outcomes at national and international scientific conferences to support knowledge dissemination and professional networking. In addition to research activities, she is actively involved in teaching, conducting laboratory courses and supervising student projects, thereby contributing to the development of the next generation of specialists in materials engineering.
